Credentials of Our Resident Expert - Marilia Silva-Brand,
Director of Clinical Esthetics and Alternative Medicine
Marilia Silva-Brand, Director of Clinical Esthetics and Alternative Medicine at AGE LESS – AGE WELL Spa Clubs Inc. is an Internationally Certified Biofeedback Specialist, Live Blood Microscopist, Certified Homeo-Therapeutics Consultant, and Contact Regulation Thermographist.
She is also a Clinical Esthetician and Certified Para-Medical Micro-Pigmentation Specialist, with years of extensive training from Europe, Canada and the USA, and is trained to interface with plastic surgeons and dermatologists. She is well versed in all aspects of skin rejuvenation including non-surgical skin revision therapies (non-injectables). Stress reduction therapies, orthomolecular nutrition and cosmetic chemistry are all part of her ongoing learning with an emphasis on total healthy aging. She has taken multiple courses on laser technologies including laser physics and is certified and proficient in the use of most medical grade lasers for cosmetic use. She is a physician and nurse trained Laser Therapist.
Marilia also specializes in the 'mind/body' wellness concept utilizing Neuro Linguistic Programing, Orthomolecular Nutrition, Internal Detoxification, Bio-Identical Hormone Replacement counselling for effective weight loss and wellness. She strongly believes in replacing the negative core beliefs which may not be serving us well, and is a firm believer in preventative, customized care by addressing the root cause of any skin or health imbalance though analyzing the internal and external stressors involved in each situation to get her clients optimal and lasting results.
Marilia has been a skin and hair removal specialist for more than 20 years and a holistic practitioner for over a decade. She has successfully assisted many, including physicians and nurses, with a variety of health concerns. Marilia has had tremendous success in counseling those with Irritable Bowel Syndrome, Chronic Fatigue, Fibromyalgia and Arthritis as well as Hormone imbalances to recover their wellness.
Committed to on-going training, Marilia has recently completed the most up to date certification in Para-Medical Skin Revision protocolls for facial and body scars, wrinkles and other skin imperfections through a retired plastic surgeon. She is an active student of the International Quantum University of Integrative Medicine through distance learning, and is working toward completing her Doctorate in Alternative Medicine.
